Verifying mastery
through teaching.
Traditional tests measure rote recall. Axiom Flow measures authentic conceptual understanding. Built on the Feynman Technique, we verify mastery by challenging learners to teach our interactive AI models.
Why we built
Axiom Flow
Higher education has reached a breaking point with legacy testing models. When students can memorize answers or use generative AI to pass checking tools, how do we measure genuine comprehension?
“Axiom Flow verifies conceptual mastery by measuring how well students teach, utilizing the Feynman Technique as our core engine.”
The Flaw in Checking-Based Systems
Traditional testing only checks boxes, measuring recall rather than deep comprehension. Generative AI has worsened this by feeding answers to students. Axiom Flow flips the dynamic: the student must prove understanding by teaching our interactive models.
The Rigor of the Feynman Technique
Our engine is built on the Feynman Technique: you don't truly understand a concept until you can teach it. By articulating concepts to correct a flawed AI student, learners surface precise cognitive gaps that traditional multiple-choice exams miss.
Mastery-Based Assessment
Axiom Flow is a dedicated mastery assessment platform, not a content delivery tool or LMS database. We integrate seamlessly into university pipelines via Moodle LTI to do one thing exceptionally well: verify authentic conceptual understanding.
The Dual-Agent Assessment Architecture
Axiom Flow operates two specialized, isolated AI agents to model, trace, and diagnose student conceptual knowledge.
Atlas
EXPERT EDUCATOR
Atlas has full access to the learning materials. It analyzes the content, extracts the key concepts, and creates a set of common misunderstandings (misconceptions) which are mapped directly to the final exam questions.

Sam
AI Student
Sam acts with zero external knowledge of the subject or correct answers. Initialized with the misconceptions generated by Atlas, Sam relies entirely on the user's teaching inputs to update his thought model. He acts as a measurement proxy, updating his internal thoughts based on the user's explanations.
