The Shared Credit Pool
Instead of locking individual students to strict, non-transferable limits, all purchased credits are pooled together at the institutional level. This ensures that unused capacity from students who chat lightly is automatically available to classmates who engage in more intensive discussions with Sam—completely eliminating wasted credit capacity.

Seat Provisioning
• LMS Integration: Seamless LTI plugin integration with Moodle. Student seats are automatically provisioned on their first launch (only available if a manual roster is not uploaded).
• Manual Uploads: Instructors can upload student rosters via CSV/Excel in the dashboard. If a manual roster is provided, automatic LTI seat provisioning is disabled.
Overage Protection
• Disabled by Default: Overage billing is turned off by default and must be explicitly enabled by an administrator in the admin dashboard.
• Default Hard Stop: If not enabled, a hard limit is applied to sessions once the cohort credit allocation is fully utilized, prompting students to wait or admins to top-up.
• Overage Billing Option: If enabled, student sessions will continue without interruption. Extra usage is billed flat at $25.00 per 1,000 credits (equivalent to an estimated 40 student assignments) at the end of the term.
